The fantasy football playoffs are finally here. But while you are sweating over your flex spots, the real NFL teams are still in a dogfight. As we head into Week 15, not a single team has mathematically clinched a playoff spot yet (a few are pretty dang close though).
That uncertainty is exactly where the opportunity lies for collectors.
We are looking for the players whose card markets could tilt based on a postseason run. A spectacular January performance can change the entire trajectory of a player’s market. This week, we are looking at the teams with the highest odds to punch their ticket and the cards you should target before the “Clinched” graphics start hitting social media.
For reference, you can always check our Pre-Season Fantasy Football / Prizm Silver Price Comparison Guide to benchmark player’s Prizm Rookie PSA 10 price movement.
The AFC Favorites
Bo Nix, Denver Broncos
Prizm Silver Rookie PSA 10 Price: Preseason ~$460 → ~$450
Playoff Odds: >99%
The Broncos are sitting at 11-2 with a 99% chance to make the dance, and they can officially clinch with a win this weekend. Bo Nix has continued to surprise and impress, yet his market hasn’t fully exploded to match the team’s record. His Prizm Silver Rookie PSA 10 is currently sitting around $450—actually down slightly from his preseason hype levels.
Compare that to his draft classmate Drake Maye (we’ll get to him in a second), whose same card is trading for over $1,700. That is a massive valuation gap for two rookie quarterbacks leading 11-win teams. Nix feels like he has serious room to run if he secures that #1 AFC seed.
TreVeyon Henderson, New England Patriots
Numbered RPA Price: ~$80 (Raw/Graded varies)
Playoff Odds: >99%
The Patriots also hold an 11-2 record and are fighting for that top seed. If you are thinking of picking up some Drake Maye cards, I’m here to tell you that you missed the bus. You actually missed the bus, the Uber, and the flight. Drake’s PSA 10 Rookie Silver Prizm is selling for ~$1,750—more than any player in his rookie class and behind only established stars Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, or Patrick Mahomes.
So where is the value in New England? It’s rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson. He has posted the third-most fantasy points on the team this season and has a real chance to make a difference in the next few weeks. Plus, the hobby loves a rookie RB storyline in the playoffs. You can still pick up numbered RPAs of Henderson for under $80. If he punches in a couple of touchdowns in a playoff game, on a team like the Patriots, he becomes a household name overnight.
The NFC Contenders
Matthew Stafford & Puka Nacua, Los Angeles Rams
Stafford Topps Chrome Rookie Refractor PSA 10 Price: Preseason ~$350 → ~$1,250 (Recent Sale)
Nacua Prizm Silver Rookie PSA 10 Price: Preseason $86 → ~$130
Playoff Odds: 98%
The Rams are 10-3 and can clinch this weekend with a win. Matthew Stafford is already a surefire Hall of Famer, but a second Super Bowl ring would put him in rarefied air. His card market is waking up to this reality. His 2009 Topps Chrome Rookie Refractor PSA 10 was a ~$350 card in the preseason. Two weeks ago, a copy sold on Fanatics Collect for $1,250. If you can find one under $500, buy it immediately—but with a pop count of just 91, good luck.
The more accessible play is star receiver Puka Nacua. His Prizm Silver PSA 10 has seen a modest bump from $86 to $130, but it hasn’t gone vertical yet. He is expected to do big things in the playoffs, and if the Rams make a run, Puka will be the one filling the highlight reels.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Seattle Seahawks
Prizm Silver Rookie PSA 10 Price: Preseason $62 → ~$200
Playoff Odds: 98%
The Seahawks are also sitting at 10-3 with excellent odds to make a deep run. Sam Darnold has been playing great (what a sentence to write in 2025), but his WR1 is the one grabbing the hobby headlines. Jaxon Smith-Njigba is currently the WR1 in fantasy football.
His market has reacted, with his Silver PSA 10 climbing from ~$62 to ~$200. But consider the ceiling: Justin Jefferson still commands ~$500 for the equivalent card. If JSN carries this momentum into a playoff showcase, $200 might look cheap in hindsight.
The Wildcard Narrative
Philip Rivers, Indianapolis Colts
Topps Chrome Rookie Refractor PSA 10 Price: Preseason ~$330 (Before signing)
Playoff Odds: 32%
The Colts are 8-5 with a 32% chance to make the playoffs. Those odds aren’t great, but if they win out, some very fun storylines will emerge. And to help them cross the finish line, they’ve picked up none other than Philip Rivers.
Rivers grabbed more headlines this past week than any other NFL star. Rivers’ 2004 Topps Chrome Rookie Refractor PSA 10 was selling for around $330 before the news dropped. If he sees the field and helps Indianapolis sneak into the postseason, his market will go nuclear. Storylines this good don’t come around often. Worst case scenario if you decide to pick up some quality Rivers’ cards? You’re holding a rare rookie card of a guy headed to the Hall of Fame anyway.
The Verdict
The market is currently pricing in regular-season stats, but it hasn’t fully priced in playoff glory. Whether it’s the value gap on Bo Nix or the sheer narrative power of Philip Rivers returning, now is the time to place your bets before the “Clinched” shirts get printed.
