If you’ve opened social media this week, there is a solid chance you’ve come across a few posts about something called The Hobby Awards. What’s that about?
For the first time, the card community has its own awards season — a way to recognize the people, shops, and brands that keep the hobby moving forward. From breakers to marketplace builders, from artists to innovators, nominees across all categories are sharing their stories and rallying collectors to vote.
Below are just a few of the nominees who shared messages with their audiences this week:

While each campaign takes a different form — some polished, others personal — the through line is clear: this moment is about pride in the work, and in the people behind it. Whether it’s a small team running late-night streams or a decades-old shop with a global reputation, the posts capture the same thing — a shared belief that the hobby is at its best when it celebrates itself.

Voting for The Hobby Awards is now open at TheHobbyAwards.com.
Collectors can cast votes across categories spanning innovation, media, retail, and creativity through November 21. Winners will be announced mid December, including the debut of the limited Ghostwrite Trophy — created exclusively for The Hobby Awards.
Want to win a Trophy for yourself? One lucky voter will get to take one home. More details here.
