A common conundrum in card breaking- you pull a great card, but not one that fits your PC (personal collection), and now it’s your responsibility to figure out what to do with it. With a new partnership announced today, Heystack, the card recognition software and hardware company, and consignment company dcsports87, are working to solve that.

Through the deal, breakers will be able to utilize Heystack’s tools to capture card images which will be matched against a card database; the cards can then be instantly listed for auction via dcsports87.

In a release, Heystack CEO Steve Sloan said “By integrating our imaging technology and release day card recognition with dcsports87’s trusted consignment platform, we are helping break customers get their cards listed and sold faster than ever before.”

Customers who utilize the program will be able to receive payment in the form of break credit, so they can go hunting for more great cards. Among the breaking companies participating at launch are Sports Card Nonsense and Filthbomb breaks.
